Group your assets

The Group Sets page, with a drop-down list of group sets and two panes, one for groups and one for assets

You can organize your assets into groups using group sets. Group sets are often used to aggregate similar types of units performing the same sort of function. For example, you might have a group set for settling tanks, and another group set for charge tanks, or you might have a group set for low sulfur crude tanks and another group set for high sulfur crude tanks. This is useful for both display and reporting purposes.

Assets are defined as belonging to a particular group, and groups themselves belong to group sets. This allows assets to be categorized depending on the requirements of the model. For example, you might have a group set for the charge tanks for the CDUs. This group set might contain several different groups each representing a different set of tanks used to feed different CDUs.
