The general stability and reliability of Plan and Network have been improved since the last version. In addition, the following improvements have been made:
-
For new Supply Chain Models, infeasibility breakers default to enabled always; this helps speed up model builds enabling problems in partially constructed models to be found more quickly. After model build is complete and stability reviewed it is recommended for standard workflows to switch breakers to Never.
-
Improved information on infeasible equations has been added to the Optimization Analysis report. This can be used to debug problem models or problem start points to improve the convergence of models. Extended information on the Irreducible Infeasible Sets (IIS) are available with feedback on the critical variables within the infeasible equations.
-
The SDK has added support for publishing to comma-separated values (CSV) and Parquet. Rich report data can now be automatically retrieved and published into ETL pipelines enabling extended analytic and business intelligence workflows.
-
There was a bug where, in the Property Prediction Editor, if a Property*Yield Auto Function was defined, the Index Blending was removed. This has been fixed.
-
In the Watch window, if Fix is active, then the Min/Max fields are now marked as inactive improving usability and making it clearer core constraints.
-
In the Blend Specifications view the display unit for flows is now saved for the blender – this enables easier configuration of personalised displays helping improve model understanding. After changing the unit of measure for the material flow it is necessary to re-optimize the model to update the value.
-
When using the Update Price Scenario workflow for multiple plants and periods it is possible to copy/paste scenarios between periods speeding up the process. Periods using the same scenario are coloured to help indicate the logical groupings. This colour scheme has been improved to improve visual clarity for users with colour impaired vision.
-
The Plan Case Comparison Report can be con figured to only show non-zero purchase and sale amounts. This reduces the number of entries in these reports, making major shifts in solution during scenario analysis much clearer.
