Material Groups

Warning: This topic is aimed at Schedule AI Assistant administrators.
Settings in the Advanced Settings page are shared among all users of Schedule AI Assistant for the refinery site. Any changes made in this page affect all users.
Creating a material group allows you to set composition constraints on the group as a whole rather than, or in addition to, individual traded materials.

To show the list of traded materials in a group, as shown in the previous image, click
the ellipsis icon (
) at the end of the row and then the downward arrow icon (
).

To create a material group:

Click Create material group in the Material Groups pane. The Add Material Group dialog box opens.

Enter a name for the group in the Add a name text field.

Select each traded material you want to add to the group. Type in the Select Materials text box to dynamically filter the list of traded materials.

Click Add Group. The Add Material Group dialog closes and the new group appears in the Material Groups pane.

Click Save at the bottom of the window. The Save changes? dialog box opens.

Click Save changes to confirm.
To edit a material group:

Click the ellipsis icon (
) at the end of the corresponding row of the Material Groups pane. A list of additional icons appears.

Click the
icon. The Edit Material Group dialog box opens. This has the same fields as the Add Material Group dialog box.

Once you have made your changes, click Update Group.
To delete a material group:

Click the ellipsis icon (
) at the end of the corresponding row of the Material Groups pane. A list of additional icons appears.

Click the
icon. The Remove Material Group? dialog box opens.

Click Remove. The group is deleted.
Note: After you have made changes to the Advanced Settings page, you must click the Save button at the bottom right corner of the window before leaving the page. If you try to leave the page by clicking Back to optimize and there are unsaved changes, you are prompted to save them.
