Several reporting mechanisms are available in Schedule.
Data reports
Generating reports from the Reporting tab lets you create a full set of simulated data for all assets:
-
Schedule By Hour and Day: Simulated data at each time granularity is generated for the entire scheduling horizon.
-
Imports & Exports: A list of imports and exports logged in the scheduling horizon can be generated as a report, including the amounts and materials of each transport.
-
Process Unit Summary: This report provides details on all streams across all process units.
To create the Process Unit Summary report follow these steps:
-
Click Process Unit Summary in the Generate Report group of the Reporting ribbon tab. The Generate Process Unit Summary Reports dialog opens.

-
Check the message below the list of units. If you see a warning icon followed by Selected Process Units have not been fully simulated, close the dialog and click the Simulate button
in the Simulation group of the Home ribbon tab to make sure you are using reliable data.

-
Customize the time points used when generating the report. You can also click the Add Asset Filter icon to filter through the assets you wish to add to your report.

-
Once you have selected your assets, and customized your time points, click Generate to generate an Excel workbook. There will be a separate sheet for each process unit.

Blend reports

You can create Excel reports on product and pipeline blends. To generate the reports, click the Product Blends or Pipeline Blends button in the Generate Report group of the Reporting ribbon tab, respectively.
The blend report, for both product and pipeline blends, is composed of three sheets:
-
Blends: Lists information about all the blends of the corresponding type found in the scheduling case, and any errors associated with them.
-
Recipes: Lists the recipes associated with each blend.
-
Compositions: Lists the composition for the destination and all the sources of each blend. Note that you must have simulated the schedule for the blend compositions to be listed in the report.
Some cells are color coded to show information such as whether an asset is a source or a destination. A legend at the bottom of the Recipes and Compositions sheets shows the meaning of each color.
Export tabular views
To export tabular views into an Excel workbook, go to the Reporting ribbon tab and click the Tabular View button. This opens a dialog box listing all of the tabular views you can export. You can choose to export the tabular views in your current display, or click the Custom option button and select the views you wish to export.

A new Excel workbook is created, with a separate sheet for each tabular view you exported.

Clicking the Export to File
icon on a tabular view will export only that table to Excel.

Bulk export reports
You can create all available Schedule reports in one go and save them to a custom folder with consistent names. This is useful if you regularly process the data in the reports, especially when using automated tools.

-
In the Reporting ribbon tab, click Bulk Export Reports. The Bulk Export Reports dialog opens.
-
Select the reports you want to include in the generation. All reports except Schedule by Hour are selected by default.
-
Optionally, click either Customize button to further configure the Tabular View and Process Unit Summary report. The configuration dialog boxes are the same you see when clicking the report buttons in the Reporting ribbon tab.
-
In the Export to field, enter the path to the folder where you want to create the reports. Alternatively, click the
button and browse to the folder or create a new one.
-
Click Export. The reports are generated and saved to the specified folder. If Open folder when export is complete is selected, a Windows Explorer window opens to show the folder contents.
