Warning: This topic is aimed at Schedule AI Assistant administrators.
Settings in the Advanced Settings page are shared among all users of Schedule AI Assistant for the refinery site. Any changes made in this page affect all users.
You can allow users to set the minimum delay between successive cargo discharges, and set the boundaries of this configuration option.

To show the Group and Description information for a setting, as shown in the previous image, click the ellipsis icon
(
) at the end of the row and then the downward arrow icon (
).

To create a discharge delay setting, follow these steps:
-
Click the Create Discharge Delay link. The Create Discharge Delay pane opens.

-
Enter a Title for the discharge delay setting.
-
Enter the default discharge Delay in hours. This must be greater than zero. Fractional values such as 2.5 are accepted.
-
Enable the Editable switch if you want users to be able to edit the discharge delay setting in the My Setup pane of the Setup Run page, within the boundaries you establish.
If you do not want to make the setting editable, the following steps do not apply. Click Create to create the discharge delay.
-
Enter a Description for the setting. This appears under the setting name in the My Setup pane.
-
Enter a Group for the setting. This is a heading under which the discharge delay setting appears in the My Setup pane. You should assign related settings to the same group.
-
Enter a Lower Limit and an Upper Limit for the setting, in hours. This defines the range of discharge delay values users can set. For example, you may want users to be able to set values between one and four hours only. Fractional values such as 2.5 are accepted.
-
Enter an Increment, in hours. This defines the amount of change when users click the left or right arrow icons in the setting. For example, enter 0.1 if you want the setting to increase or decrease by 0.1 hours when the icons are clicked.
-
Click Create to create the discharge delay.
Note: You can create only one discharge delay setting. When a setting exists, the Create Discharge Delay link is replaced by Edit Discharge Delay.
To edit the discharge delay setting:
-
Click the Edit Discharge Delay link. The Edit Discharge Delay pane opens. This has the same fields as the Create Discharge Delay pane.
-
Once you have made your changes, click Update.
To delete the discharge delay setting:
-
Click the ellipsis icon (
) at the end of the table row in the Discharge Delay pane. A list of additional icons appears.
-
Click the
icon. The Remove Discharge Delay? dialog box opens.
-
Click Remove. The discharge delay is deleted.
Note: After you have made changes to the Advanced Settings page, you must click the Save button at the bottom right corner of the window before leaving the page. If you try to leave the page by clicking Back to optimize and there are unsaved changes, you are prompted to save them.
