Link your case stack data

The Create Data Link from Case Stack dialog, with a list of cases and columns

To get data from a case stack into Excel:

  1. In Excel, click the From Case Stack button in the Get AVEVA™ USC Plan Data group of the AVEVA™ USC Plan ribbon tab. The Create Data Link from Case Stack dialog opens.

  2. Choose the Share containing the cases you want to get data from.

  3. Choose the Model containing the cases.

  4. Choose the Watch Set containing the fields you want to include. Each field will become a row in the Excel worksheet.

  5. Choose the Cases to include in the stack. Select the check box next to each case you want to include. Note that you can also select Analytics cases and, for multi-plant and multi-period cases, the associated single-plant cases.

  6. Choose the data Columns you want to import. Select the check box next to each column you want to include.

  7. Select Retain Values if you want the updated values you enter to be retained after publishing and optimizing.

  8. Click OK. The sheet is filled with the imported data.
