In the Settings tab you can import data from the staging database. Follow these steps:
-
From the Data Sources list, choose the data sources from which you want to import data. If you see [Connector] after a name, the data is retrieved directly via a connector without querying the staging database. Otherwise, the data is retrieved from the staging database.
Tip: You also have the option to check connectors for issues.
Select the check box next to each data source you want to include, or type in the Data Sources field to automatically select the data sources with matching text. Press Enter, or click away from the text field, to confirm your selection. Press Esc or click the cross icon at the bottom left corner of the sources list to cancel.
-
Choose which Time to retrieve data from. You have three options, as shown in the following image.

-
Date: get data at or since a specific date and time.
-
Duration: get data at or since a number of days and hours from the present time. For example, if you choose three days and four hours, you will get data at, or starting from, three days and four hours ago.
-
Past 24 hrs: get data at or since a given time within the past 24 hours.
Tip: Whether you get data at a certain date and time, or since a certain date and time, depends on the type of data and on the options you choose, as explained in the following steps.
-
-
From the Transfers list, choose whether to include Imports, Exports and Movements in the data to retrieve. You always get data since the date and time you configured.
Select the Mark Unmatched External Transports for Deletion check box to set any imports or exports with no matching Integration ID in the retrieved data to Mark for Deletion instead of Missing. This is limited to imports and exports with metadata tag Source set to External. This tag is automatically set for transports retrieved from a connector or from the staging database, to avoid marking for deletion any manually created imports and exports.
-
From the Measurements list, choose the types of measurements, if any, you want to retrieve.
-
If you have selected at least one category of measurements, the last drop-down list in the Options pane becomes enabled. This gives you three options for getting measurements:
-
Get At: get measurements taken at the time you defined in step 2.
-
Get Latest: get only the latest measurements. Useful if a large number of measurements are available, but you only need the latest ones to reconcile the scheduling model. The time you defined in step 2 is ignored in this case.
-
Get Since: get measurements taken since the time you defined in step 2.
-
-
Configure the Import assay material matching preferences. These preferences control which assay is chosen if there are multiple assays available for an imported traded material.

-
Plan Purchase: select this check box to consider only the assays that are active as purchases in the Plan case.
-
Recommended: select this check box to consider only the assays marked as recommended.
-
Last Modified: select this option to order the candidate assays by last modified date. This ensures that the most recent assay is chosen.
-
Reference: select this option to sort the candidate assays by reference value. This is useful if the reference includes a date or other meaningful information by which to sort the assays.

Click Get in the Reconciliation group of the Home ribbon tab. The data you selected are retrieved.
The Status pane shows information on the number of imports, exports, measurements and movements retrieved from the staging database. Color coding is used to highlight problems with the data import. For example, a red label means that some of the data items failed to be imported. Hover your mouse pointer over a text label to display a tooltip with details on the total number of data items and the number of items that could not be imported.
The Diagnostics pane displays detailed messages about each failure in the data transfer, to help you diagnose and solve problems.
