The ribbon

Functionality in AVEVA Unified Supply Chain is accessed using the ribbon at the top of the application window. The ribbon features several tabs which can be opened by clicking on their name, and within each tab there are further groups of icons and sub-menus.

The tabs on the ribbon depend on the environment in which you are working, and are also context sensitive depending on the part of AVEVA Unified Supply Chain you are using. For example, when on the Flowsheet page in the planning environment, several groups appear which are specific only to the flowsheet interface.

Tip: To gain more screen space, you can minimize the ribbon so that only the tab names are shown. The ribbon will appear when you click a tab and disappear again after you select a function from the tab.
To minimize the ribbon, double click a ribbon tab label, such as Home. To maximize the ribbon, double click a tab label again.

The Quick Access Toolbar

The Quick Access Toolbar is a series of icons next to the to left corner of the application window. It includes the following icons, from left to right:

• Save: saves the changes to the current model. Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + S.

• Undo: reverts the last action. Supported for most action types across all AVEVA Unified Supply Chain environments. Keyboard shortcuts: Alt + Backspace or Ctrl + Z.

• Redo: redoes the last action you have undone with the Undo button. Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + Y.
