Configure the data connection for Plan

In Excel, click Options in the Connections group of the AVEVA™ USC Plan ribbon tab.

To configure a connection to the local AVEVA Unified Supply Chain installation:

Click the Local Shared Memory option.

Enter the name of the local Core Engine server. See the Integration step of the Profile Wizard for how to set up a Core Engine server.

Click OK.
Warning: For the Excel Add-In to create a valid connection to the local Core Engine server, the local instance of AVEVA Unified Supply Chain must be running.
Note: The Aveva CHP option in the Configuration dialog for the Plan Add-In is not operational in this release. It will be enabled in a future release of AVEVA Unified Supply Chain. Please keep using the Local Shared Memory option.
Once you have configured the data connection, you can import data into your Excel workbook.
