Reconcile the schedule with plant data

The Reconciliation Environment is used to get data from an external source or from the staging database, a connection to which is configured in your profile. Data include tank measurements (amounts, properties and compositions), flows (rates and properties), and transfers (imports, exports and movements). You can then reconcile measurement and transports (imports and exports) against existing items and predictions in the Schedule model. You can plot movements in the Gantt view against simulated Schedule activities.

Open the Reconciliation Environment
There are two ways to open the Reconciliation Environment:
From the Model Explorer

-
In the Supply Chain Models tab, select the model containing the scheduling case you are interested in.
-
In the case list pane, select the scheduling case.
-
In the Cases group of the Home ribbon tab, click the lower half of the Open button.
-
Click the Reconciliation button.
From a scheduling case

-
Click the Environments ribbon tab.
-
Click the Reconciliation button in the Environments group.
Configure the Reconciliation Environment
The Reconciliation Environment is composed of several tabs (Settings, Movements and so on). You can change the order of the tabs by dragging their labels. You can also undock a tab from the main window by dragging the tab label outside the window. The tab then becomes a separate, independent window. To dock an undocked tab again, click the tab name and drag it back to the other tab labels.
Your changes to the layout of the Reconciliation Environment are preserved after you end your session. If you want to return to the default layout, click the Reset Layout button in the Panes group of the Layout ribbon tab.
The Format group of the Layout ribbon tab offers you more ways to customize the environment:
-
Change the Decimals value to set the number of decimal places used for flow rates, amounts and so on.
-
Choose the Time Zone used to show dates and times in the environment. Note that this control changes only how times and dates are displayed. It does not change the underlying time zone of the plant, which is defined in the Duration section of the Settings page.
