To run AVEVA Unified Supply Chain, you need a valid license. When starting AVEVA Unified Supply Chain for the first time, or when the license is near or past expiry, the Licence Wizard dialog opens.

The license details for AVEVA Unified Supply Chain are provided by your administrator for AVEVA products. The license is tied to your machine name and a unique machine key, as described in the licensing dialog fields Machine Name and Machine Key. To forward your machine name and key to your AVEVA products administrator, click the Mail button at the bottom of the dialog. This opens your email program with the relevant details already present in the body of the message.
Once you have these details, you need to complete the following fields in the licensing dialog.
|
Field |
Description |
|---|---|
|
Licensee |
The chosen name for the licensing organization. |
|
Expiry Date |
The date after which the license expires. If the expiry date is not set in the future, the date fields are shaded red. |
|
Licence Key |
A code consisting of twenty letters and numbers, in groups of five separated by dashes. Each field of the license key is shaded red if it does not contain five characters, or if it contains an invalid character. |
Tip: If you have received a license via email, copy the six rows of the license to the Clipboard and then click Paste Licence in the Wizard. This pastes the license details without you having to type them manually.
Once a license for AVEVA Unified Supply Chain has been configured, you are not prompted again until renewal becomes imminent.
