Follow these steps to publish all the local changes to the central database server:
-
Click the Commit button in the Sharing group of the Home ribbon tab. The Commit Changes dialog box opens.
-
Clear the check box next to each model or reference data you do not want to commit.
-
If an item is marked as Unavailable in the Commit column, and you want to commit it, check the reason in the Details column and take appropriate action.
-
Enter a comment for the commit if required.
-
If the models should remain checked out after committing the changes, select the Keep models checked out check box.
-
Click the Commit button to save the changes to the server.
Note: If the commit is going to update the data version of a model on the server, the Updates data version message appears in the Details column. Once the data version of a model has been updated, it is no longer possible to open the model with previous versions of AVEVA Unified Supply Chain.
This message is expected when first committing each model after upgrading AVEVA Unified Supply Chain to a new version. It can be ignored if you are not running other versions of AVEVA Unified Supply Chain.
If instead you are running multiple versions of AVEVA Unified Supply Chain connected to different DataLayer servers, it may indicate that you are using a profile with the wrong server. For example, you may be committing an acceptance model to a production server. If in doubt, check your profile to make sure the DataLayer server is the intended one. See Manage Profiles for more information.
You can view the list of changes for each model or reference data by clicking the corresponding View link in the Changes column. This opens the Review Changes dialog box, from which you can also commit the changes.

You can also access the Review Changes dialog box from the Model Explorer. In this case, the dialog box shows the list of changes for the model selected in the Supply Chain Models tab.
-
Click Review Changes in the Sharing group of the Home ribbon tab. The Review Changes dialog box opens.
-
Inspect the list of changes.
-
To sort the changes by the values in a column, click the column header. Click again to reverse the sort order.
-
To filter by a particular value in a column, click the small funnel icon that appears when you hover your mouse pointer over the column header. Choose the filter value from the list that appears.
-
-
Enter a comment for the commit if required.
-
If the model should remain checked out after committing the changes, select the Keep model checked out check box.
-
Click Commit. Your changes are committed to the server.
