Assets and Pipes Group Exclusivity

Settings in the Advanced Settings page are shared among all users of Schedule AI Assistant for the refinery site. Any changes made in this page affect all users.
The Assets and Pipes Group Exclusivity advanced feature lets you create groups of assets and pipes. Each group is restricted so that it can be subject to a single type of activity at a time, such as filling the group or drawing from the group. For example, a tank belonging to a group can be filled at one time and drawn from at a later time, but these activities cannot happen at the same time.

To create an asset and pipes group exclusivity setting, follow these steps:

Click the Create Assets and Pipes Group Exclusivity link. The Create Assets and Pipes Group Exclusivity pane opens.

Enter a Title for the group.

Click the
icon next to Assets to add an asset to the group. Type in the field that appears to see a list of matching
asset names. You can add multiple assets by clicking the
icon again. To remove an asset from the group, click the
icon next to it.

Click the
icon next to Pipes to add a pipe to the group. Type in the field that appears to see a list of matching
pipe names. You can add multiple pipes by clicking the
icon again. To remove a pipe from the group, click the
icon next to it.

Click Create to create the asset and pipes group exclusivity setting. You must have added at least one asset or one pipe for this button to be enabled.
To edit an asset and pipes group exclusivity setting:

Click the ellipsis icon (
) at the end of the corresponding row of the Assets and Pipes Group Exclusivity pane. A list of additional icons appears.

Click the
icon. The Edit Assets and Pipes Group Exclusivity pane opens. This has the same fields as the Create Assets and Pipes Group Exclusivity pane.

Once you have made your changes, click Update.
To delete an asset and pipes group exclusivity setting:

Click the ellipsis icon (
) at the end of the corresponding row of the Assets and Pipes Group Exclusivity pane. A list of additional icons appears.

Click the
icon. The Remove Assets and Pipes Group Exclusivity? dialog box opens.

Click Remove. The setting is deleted.
Note: After you have made changes to the Advanced Settings page, you must click the Save button at the bottom right corner of the window before leaving the page. If you try to leave the page by clicking Back to optimize and there are unsaved changes, you are prompted to save them.
