This group of topics contains information on how to create a scheduling case and configure its features in the scheduling environment.
Also covered are the different types of blends you can create (feed, product, pipeline) and the multi-blend environments, where you can inspect, edit and optimize multiple blends at the same time.
Create a schedule case
-
Select the case to base the new scheduling case on

In the Supply Chain Models tab of the Model Explorer, click on the model the case belongs to, then click on the case in the case list. Scheduling cases can be added at any level of the case hierarchy, or as children of existing scheduling cases.
The scheduling case inherits the settings of the parent case, including feedstocks, pricing, process unit models and blend rules.
Tip: The opening Inventory is copied from the planning case on which the scheduling case is based. In the planning case, the amount and composition of the opening inventory is set on the Inventories page.
-
Add a scheduling case

In the Cases group of the Home ribbon tab, click Add Schedule. The new scheduling case appears in the case hierarchy, with a default name.
-
Rename the case

If needed, click the new case name and type a new name.
