The Optimization Analysis page has been added to the Run Settings dialog. From here you can enable or disable optimization analysis and cluster analysis, and configure their settings.

When you select the Enable Optimization Analysis check box, you can then choose which types of data are included in the report by selecting or clearing the relevant check boxes.

When you select the Enable Cluster Analysis check box, you can choose whether to use the Default algorithm, with tolerance set at the default value of 10-5, or the Absolute Tolerance algorithm, which lets you enter a custom tolerance value.

Note that the format of the cluster analysis section in the JSON file produced by optimization analysis has changed slightly with respect to the previous release. You may have to make changes to any code you use to process the file.

As a result of these changes, the following items are now redundant and have been removed from the application:

  • The Optimization Analysis button in the Modelling group of the Home ribbon tab.

  • The Optimization Analysis Data entry in the Result Retrieval Settings page of the Run Settings dialog.
