Note: The features described in this section are part of the AVEVA USC Schedule Excel AddIn.

Get Schedule staging data into Excel

The Schedule Staging Data ribbon group in Excel

With the Schedule Excel Add-In, you can retrieve data from a staging service. A staging service contains information on the activity and status of one or more plants. Staging data is used to reconcile the prediction of a scheduling simulation of your plant with the actual data coming from the plant.

For more information on the scheduling reconciliation environment see Reconcile the Schedule with Plant Data.

Make sure that the Excel Add-In is configured correctly before trying to connect to the staging service.

You can retrieve these categories of data from a staging service:

  • Measurements: these can be levels of tanks, pipe flows, feedstock compositions and property measurements.

  • Imports and Exports: data on imports and exports of material.

You can then edit the data after retrieval.
