Imports and exports

The Transports pane has been improved with numerous usability enhancements.
You can now select multiple rows at once, either a contiguous range while holding Shift or individual rows while holding Ctrl. The activities related to the corresponding transports are selected in the Gantt pane. The selected imports and exports also appear in the corresponding Inspectors, and in the Overview Inspector.
The toolbar at the top of the pane has been simplified, with fewer buttons offering streamlined workflows while retaining the same level of functionality:
-
The buttons to copy and edit transports have been removed. You can easily add new transports, copy and paste values across rows and edit values in place. Press Delete to clear values from the selected cells.
-
The Add Import and Add Export buttons no longer open the respective editors. You can instead edit and paste values directly in the newly created rows. You can also paste from external sources, such as a Microsoft Excel workbook.
-
The Delete Selected Row(s) button now deletes transports, parcels or a mixture of both, according to which rows are selected in the table. This removes the need for additional buttons to delete parcels and grades.

The Alerts column and the new Activities column, to the left of the Active column, use icons to convey information while taking up limited space:
-
In the Alerts column, a combination of amber and red discs tells you whether a transport has one or more warnings and errors.
-
In the Activities column, a circle icon means that there is an activity associated with the transport. Two concentric circles mean that there are multiple activities.
For both columns, hover the mouse pointer over a cell to show a tooltip with additional information on alerts or activities.
