Override case settings via the stack view

You can override the default value (that is, the value inherited from the parent) of a watch item within the Stack View, as long as the item is configurable. To do this:
-
Ensure the editable Watch Item is in a Watch Set. For example, add the CDU Capacity constraint, which is editable, and not the CDU flow rate which is a result variable and not directly constrainable.
-
Enter a new min, max, or fixed value for the item.
When a case setting is overridden via the Stack View, the edited value is shown in the Case Comparison for the current analytic.
Warning: Overrides are stored for the generated case and will be saved with the model workspace. However, if you remove the case (by removing the corresponding feedstock or sensitivity item) then the override will be lost.
