The Gantt pane now includes a search function like the one available in the Tabular pane. This requires the Gantt View Searching in Toolbar optional feature to be enabled, which is the default setting. For more information about optional features see the Manage Optional Features section in the Overview > Configure AVEVA Unified Supply Chain help topic.

To do a search, enter the search term in the text box at the end of the Gantt pane toolbar and press Enter to highlight the first match. Keep pressing Enter to move to successive matches. You can also press the Find Previous and Find Next buttons next to the text box to move to the previous or next match.

When either the Find Previous or the Find Next button has focus, pressing Enter highlights the previous or next match, respectively.

Matches are ordered by row and then by date. Matches for a given asset are highlighted from the beginning to the end of the scheduling period, then any matches for the asset in the next row, and so on. The Gantt chart scrolls automatically to the position of the highlighted match.

Custom tank to tank transfers

You can now transfer material between two tanks by a custom amount. The Custom Amount option has been added to tank submenus of the Fill To and Draw From context menu entries.

When you select the Custom Amount entry, a dialog open where you can enter the amount. The unit of measure is the default one as specified in the UoMs tab of the General page, but you can switch to a different one.

Note that there are no checks on the amounts you enter. For example, you can enter an amount bigger than the source or destination tank capacity, and the activity is still created accordingly. In these cases, the relevant diagnostic messages are generated during simulation.
