Per period calculations

Each case added to the model (Add Plants) can be used to represent one or more planning periods. Within this period all of the plant level constraints as defined in the case are applied to period. So for example if a case defines a particular CDU capacity then this is applied to the period(s) where this case is used. If in a different case there is a different CDU capacity this other constraining value will be used where this other case is active.

Configuring the model this way allows you to use different plant configurations at different points in time. The actual settings in use can be modified by editing the cases or by modifying a watch set which contains the relevant plant setting.
