Link your case view data

To get data from one of the supported views in a case, into Excel:

In Excel, click the From Case View button in the Get AVEVA™ USC Plan Data group of the AVEVA™ USC Plan ribbon tab. The Create Data Link from Case View dialog opens.

Choose the Share containing the case you want to get data from.

Choose the Model containing the case.

Choose the Case.

Choose the Source grid containing the data you want to get. The available options depend on the type of case you have selected. For example, planning cases display Crude Purchases and Sales, while scheduling cases display choices such as imports, exports and tank inventories.

Choose the View to import data from. The columns enabled in the view will determine what part of the data in the grid is imported.

Select Retain Values if you want the updated values you enter to be retained after publishing and optimizing.

Click OK. The sheet is filled with the imported data.
