Override specifications in your case

You can override your global reference data and enter new product specifications within a case of a supply chain model. These will be used as the constraints for that case and any subcases, unless further overrides are defined in the subcases.
To override a specification, enter the new value within the Blending > Specifications grid.
To see which values have been overridden, click the Show button in the Deltas group of the Home ribbon tab. A blue triangle appears in the top right of any cells that have overrides associated to them. To undo any overrides you have made, click on the appropriate cell, then click the Restore button in the Deltas group of the Home ribbon tab.

Warning: When overriding a specification in a child case, a new specification is made as a
child of the base specification. This is shown in the Model Contents.
During model updates, overridden specifications are highlighted for update. You are made aware of specifications
which have been overridden and asked if you wish to return the specifications to their
original global reference data values.
Tip: You can edit specifications via watch sets. Add the product properties to the set and override them in the case and its descendants.
