Warning: This topic is aimed at Schedule AI Assistant administrators.
Settings in the Advanced Settings page are shared among all users of Schedule AI Assistant for the refinery site. Any changes made in this page affect all users.
The Fixed Schedule Duration advanced feature lets you keep scheduling activities unchanged for a number of days from the beginning of the scheduling period.
For example, two days of the scheduling period may have already passed when you run the optimization. Therefore, activities started during the first two days of the schedule should not be changed by the optimizer.
You can set a value for this setting and optionally let users change this value within a certain range.

To show the Group and Description information for a setting, as shown in the previous image, click the ellipsis icon
(
) at the end of the row and then the downward arrow icon (
).

To create the fixed schedule duration setting, follow these steps:

-
Enter a Title for the setting.
-
Enter the Duration value, in days.
-
Enable the Editable switch if you want users to be able to edit the fixed schedule duration setting in the My Setup pane of the Setup Run page, within the boundaries you establish.

-
Click Create to create the setting.
