Warning: This topic is aimed at Schedule AI Assistant administrators.
Settings in the Advanced Settings page are shared among all users of Schedule AI Assistant for the refinery site. Any changes made in this page affect all users.
You can limit changes to a refinery asset to one or more time windows during each day in the scheduling period. For example, you may want the optimizer to avoid making changes to your CDU outside the 9 to 11 AM window every day of the schedule.
You need to create a Node Change Windows setting for each asset you want to configure this way. Inside each setting you can create as many time windows as you need.

To create a node change windows setting, follow these steps:
-
Click the Create Node Change Windows link. The Create Node Change Windows pane opens.

-
Start typing your desired asset name in the Node field. Choose the correct asset from the list of matching names that appears.
-
Click the
icon next to Windows to add a change window. The Start and End time fields for the window boundaries appear.
-
Select the correct start and end times for your window. You can type the times directly or select from lists of hours and minutes.
Tip: If your change window crosses midnight, you need to define two windows instead, for example from 22:00 to 00:00 and from 00:00 to 2:00. Trying to define a single change window from 22:00 to 2:00 would result in an error.
-
If needed, add more change windows by repeating the previous two steps. To delete a change window, click the
icon next to it.
-
Click Create to create the node change window setting.
To edit a node change window setting:
-
Click the ellipsis icon (
) at the end of the corresponding row of the Node Change Windows pane. A list of additional icons appears.
-
Click the
icon. The Edit Node Change Windows pane opens. This has the same fields as the Create Node Change Windows pane.
-
Once you have made your changes, click Update.
To delete a node change window setting:
-
Click the ellipsis icon (
) at the end of the corresponding row of the Node Change Windows pane. A list of additional icons appears.
-
Click the
icon. The Remove Node Change Windows? dialog box opens.
-
Click Remove. The setting is deleted.
Note: After you have made changes to the Advanced Settings page, you must click the Save button at the bottom right corner of the window before leaving the page. If you try to leave the page by clicking Back to optimize and there are unsaved changes, you are prompted to save them.
