Results in tabular form

The Flexibility Parameters Summary page shows all the results from the analytic optimization in tabular form.

Each table row corresponds to an optimization case. There is at least a Base case for each flexibility parameter. If you have defined sensitivity scenarios in the Sensitivity page, there will be more rows for each scenario and flexibility parameter.

For each case, three solutions values are given:

  • Lower Target: This is the lowest possible value for this flexibility parameter still satisfying the constraint on the economic objective function defined in the Flexibility Parameters page.

  • Optimal: This is the optimal value for this flexibility parameter within the constraint on the economic objective function defined in the Flexibility Parameters page.

  • Upper Target: This is the highest possible value for this flexibility parameter still satisfying the constraint on the economic objective function defined in the Flexibility Parameters page.

Flexibility chart

The Flexibility Chart page shows the range of acceptable solution values for each flexibility parameter and each sensitivity scenario, if defined. Each coloured bar corresponds to a sensitivity scenario defined in the Sensitivity page.

Each bar shows the range of the flexibility parameter values which are compatible with the economic objective function reduction defined in the Flexibility Parameters page.

Flexibility parameter charts

The Flexibility Parameter Charts page shows separate charts for each flexibility parameter. Each chart shows the parameter range for the base case and for any sensitivity cases, if defined.

Hover your mouse pointer over the charts to display a tooltip with the exact numerical values for the closest data point.
