Welcome to the help for the Plan, Network and Schedule components of AVEVA Unified Supply Chain.

AVEVA Unified Supply Chain is the family of planning, scheduling and simulation tools produced by AVEVA.

Note: AVEVA Unified Supply Chain also includes the Assay component, which is not covered here. In this help manual, AVEVA Unified Supply Chain only refers to the Plan, Network and Schedule components.

New to AVEVA Unified Supply Chain?

The help for AVEVA Unified Supply Chain includes these sections:

  • Release Notes: New features, improvements and fixes introduced in recent versions of AVEVA Unified Supply Chain.

  • AVEVA Unified Supply Chain Overview: Information on background concepts, workflows and components common to the whole of AVEVA Unified Supply Chain.

  • Model Explorer: Describes the Model Explorer, which is the window you see when you start AVEVA Unified Supply Chain. From the Model Explorer you can manage supply chain models and reference data.

  • Plan: Describes the planning environment of the software, used to build and optimize plant planning models.

  • Network: Describes the environment used to build and maintain multi-plant multi-period models for optimization of logistics and production across multiple locations and multiple time frames.

  • Reporting: Describes how to create reports from available templates, and how to set up custom templates.

  • Analytics: Describes the types of analytics you can add to your models, and the environments used to define the analytics and analyze their results.

  • Schedule: Describes the scheduling environment of the software, used to build and maintain scheduling models.

  • Schedule AI Assistant: Describes Schedule AI Assistant, a cloud-based solution that generates optimized schedules using artificial intelligence.

Some components of AVEVA Unified Supply Chain are available only if you have the correct licenses:

  • Optimization in the planning environment requires a Spiral Plan license.

  • Parts of the Network environment require a Spiral Network license. See the Network topic for more information.

  • The scheduling environment requires a Spiral Schedule license.

  • Schedule AI Assistant is licensed separately from the Schedule desktop component of AVEVA Unified Supply Chain.
