Retain values

When you insert new values into an editable column, these value are removed when you publish the data or optimize the case. If you want to keep these values, you must enable the Retain values option. You may do so when first importing the data or afterwards by editing the connection settings:

1. Click Select Data Sources in the Connections group of the AVEVA™ USC Plan ribbon tab. The relevant dialog opens, depending on the data on the active sheet.

2. Select Retain values.

   Note: The From Analytics data is read only, so there is no Retain values option in the connection dialog.
