Remove license for a site

Warning: This procedure will remove a license for an entire site and effectively shut it down.

When a site has a license, you can see blue text at the top of the Site window: Site has a valid license.

Remove a license from a site

1. Right-click anywhere in the Site window.

2. Click Remove license.

   

   A confirmation message appears.

   

3. If you want to remove the license, click OK.

The site license is removed and the blue text no longer displays. This site is effectively shut down and no users will be able to access it.
