Add competency

Competencies

You can add competencies with AVEVA™ Operational Safety Management Administration.

Then you can add qualified workers (users) to competencies, along with a competency expiration date.

If a job requires a certain skill, any person in the competency whose competency has not expired yet can perform the job.

Additional tasks

• There is a checkbox for selecting if the competency Requiring workers.

• Work permit type and sub-types can be linked with workers who can perform a job.

What is a competency?

Add a competency

1. On the Main menu, double-click Competency.

   

2. On the Competency window, enter the details.

   

3. Click Save on the main toolbar.
