Add states for isolation points

  • Last UpdatedSep 25, 2024
  • 2 minute read

The dynamic functionality named State enables you to turn on a state column for isolation lists, so that each isolation point in the list has the option to select a current state for the isolation point from a pre-defined list.

These are custom-defined states that can be attached to individual isolation points.

Attributes

  • A state that is Active will appear in the selection menu for State column for Isolation lists.

  • The Default state is the state that will be selected by default.

  • The Final state is the last state to assign to the isolation point.

  • The Is in use column appears selected when the state is currently assigned to an isolation point.

Add states for isolation points

  1. On the Main menu, double-click State for isolation point.

  2. On the query window, click Lookup next to Site.

  3. Select your site and click OK.

Note: If the query returns no items, see Adding new rows when query returns '0' rows.

The State for isolation point window opens.

  4. Click New on the main toolbar to add a new row.

  5. Enter the details for the state:

    • Site - Browse to select your site.

    • Code - Enter a code name for the state.

    • Name - Enter a name for the state.

  6. Click Save on the main toolbar.
