Accessing business rules for workflow actions

Workflow actions can have business rules of type Check or Execute.

A workflow action can have maximum 100 business rules enabled.
Guidelines for processing business rules on workflow actions
When a process has one or several business rules enabled , then each of those rules will be performed whenever the process is performed.

The rules will be performed in an arbitrary order. The order of the rules in the process window has no significance.
Enable business rules for workflow actions

Right-click a process and click Enable business rules.
This opens a new window where you can select which business rules to enable for the selected process.

Select Check or Execute type.

If you selected Check rules, a window of CHECK business rules opens.

If you selected Execute rules, a window of Execute type business rules opens.

Select the Enabled checkbox to add a business rule to a workflow action, and click Apply.
To remove a business rule from a workflow action, clear the Enabled checkbox, and click Apply.

A Business rules statement appears on the Processes window. For example:

Business rules are enabled: Check

Business rules are enabled: Execute

Business rules are enabled: Check/Execute
Under the Biz rules column the check box will show as selected if at least one business rule is enabled on the process.
