Add an isolation list type

Creating isolation list types is like creating template definitions for the different types of isolation lists that will be used on your site.

Mechanical - The set of statuses and dynamic functionalities in an isolation list for isolating a mechanical piece of equipment.

Electrical - The set of statuses and dynamic functionalities in an isolation list for isolating an electrical piece of equipment.
You can create as many isolation list types as you like, but all types must apply one of the following templates: mechanical or electrical.

An Isolation List is a predetermined set of sequential steps that must be followed to isolate a system that will be worked on. An Isolation List must be part of an Isolation Plan. |
To add an Isolation List type

On the Main menu, click Type of isolation list.

On the query window, click Lookup next to Site.

Select your Site and click OK.
Note: If the query returns no items, see Adding new rows when query returns '0' rows.
The Type of Isolation List window opens.

Click New
on the main toolbar to add a new row in the table.

Enter the Code and Name for the isolation list type.

Next to Template, click the drop-down arrow and select Mechanical or Electrical.

Click Save
on the main toolbar.
