Limitations on determining sender from inverse process
If process is returned or rejected, the system can determine original sender if the path was A to B, and it is returning B to A. The sender at point A will receive a message that the item is being returned.
Fetch sender from inverse process
When configuring a process that goes backwards, you can specify whether performing the process will trigger a message to sender.

Fetch sender from inverse process - This option will determine who the original sender was, if possible, and notify the sender with an action item in their My Actions list.

Requires message to user - Enforces the writing of message text to sender.
Note: The SMTP Settings in the Application Settings window must be configured for email functions to work.
