Work permit type parameters

Each work permit type has the following parameters.
Site, Code, and Name
|
The site where the work will be performed. Each site will have different work permit types available for the Site. Users can only use work permit forms that have been defined for that particular site. |

A unique code for the type per site. |
|
A name for the work permit type. |
Active status
|
Indicates whether this work permit type is currently active. See Activating work permit types. |
|
Only one work permit type can be the default type. See Specify default for work permit type. |
|
Indicates that this work permit type is marked as Obsolete. Existing forms of this type will still be active; however, no new forms of a type marked Obsolete can be created. See Set work permit type to obsolete. |
Scheduling options
|
The time of day that the activation period begins for the work permit type. See Set the start time for work permits. |
|
The length of the activation period, in hours. Cannot exceed 24 hours. The default is 12 hours. See Specify duration for work permit. |
|
The default number of activation periods that this work permit type can be enabled. See Set number of activation periods. |
|
The maximum number of activation periods that this work permit type can be enabled. |
|
The number of days added to current date when a work permit is to be created. See Set number of days ahead. |
|
The number of hours to extend the activation of the work permit, if it is extended. The total time of Duration + Maximum Extension cannot exceed 24 hours. See Set work permit extension settings. |
|
The maximum number of hours that a user can extend a work permit. |
|
The default number of hours for a work permit extension. |
