Mid life cycle stage

Mid stage

The Mid stage defines the set of statuses when the object (for example, a work permit) is in the middle of its life cycle (has started on its main purpose).

Example statuses in the Mid stage

These are examples of Mid stage statuses:

  • Active

  • Approved (This status can be Pre for some entities and Mid for other entities.)

  • Expired

  • To be reset

Example statuses for work permit

For a work permit, the statuses in the Mid-stage can be:

  • Active

  • Active extended

  • Inactive

  • On hold

  • Expired

Assign a status to Mid stage

  1. On the Tools menu, point to System management and click Entities and Workflows.

  2. Right-click the entity and click Statuses on the context menu.

  3. Next to Life cycle stage, click the drop-down arrow to show the list and select Mid.
