Set work permit type to obsolete

If you no longer need a Work Permit type, you can set it to Obsolete. This might be because you have created a newer version of a Work Permit with an updated form. Existing forms of an Obsolete type will still be active; however, no new forms of a type marked Obsolete can be created.
Note: You cannot set the Default type to Obsolete.
What happens when form type is obsolete
Setting the type to Obsolete does the following:
-
Prevents new Work Permits of this type being created.
-
Prevents deactivating a Work Permit type before all the Work Permits of this type are Closed or Canceled.
-
Existing forms of this type will still be active; however, no new forms of a type marked Obsolete can be created.
