Integrating with EAM

This section describes the EAM integration setup for AVEVA™ Operational Safety Management.

ApiAdapter

The ApiAdapter is used for the EAM integration. For importing data only.

The same adapter is used for various EAM integrations.

Description

New work orders and tags will be inserts, while changes on existing work orders and tags will be updates.

Data Schema

The XML Schema definition, including the fields and mapping for these, are used together with the ApiAdapter.

Note: The XML schema definition is hardcoded for the ApiAdapter for EAM integration.
