Dynamic Functionalities for Isolation List types
The Dynamic functionality feature offers great flexibility in configuring available functionalities for Isolation types.
You can create custom combinations of functionalities for different Isolation List types to fit your exact business needs.
|
An Isolation List is a predetermined set of sequential steps that must be followed to isolate a system that will be worked on. An Isolation List must be part of an Isolation Plan. |
Supplied functionalities
For each type of Isolation list, you can select from the specific available behaviors and save the different configurations.
At the top level, there is a supplied list of functionalities that you can turn on or off for an Isolation type.

Important It is important that you fully validate and test Dynamic Functionalities in a test environment before taking the configuration to a production environment. It is possible to configure infinite loops.
Enabled for status
At a deeper level, you can determine whether the functionality is available to each status of the Isolation type workflow (visible and/or enabled).
Note: If a functionality is enabled, the functionality overrides status even if the status is not editable*. This applies only for Isolation points because points need to remain modifiable even when the workflow status is read-only. *Except that an ending status will never be overridden, even if dynamic functionality is set to enabled.

When completed a configuration, you can copy the saved configuration of functionalities from one isolation type to another.
