Read-only text

A Read-only Text field displays a text value from the OSM database that cannot be edited by the user.

All Datasource fields starting with WO and WP will insert a single value into the form.

However, the list items can display multiple values in the form. See Configure a list field that is mapped to the database.

Mapped to datasource

The field must be mapped to a logical field in the OSM database.

Example—An example of a read-only text field

Work Permit number

Configure a read-only field

  2. In the properties panel, specify the Edit as property as Read-only text.

  3. From the Datasource drop-down list, select the relevant logical field to map this form field to the database.

  4. Click Save in the Work Permit Form Editor.
