QR code for mobile environments
There is a new procedure for how to create a QR code for employees to scan and register mobile environmental details into the OSM mobile app.
See Create a QR code of environment details.
Business rules for PDF attachments of work permit forms
There are two new business rules. One to create a PDF attachment of a work permit form, and one to delete a work permit form PDF attachment.
The mobile app does not display the work permit form. Therefore, this provides is a way to view the work permit form when it is an attachment to the work permit. This is the only way to view the work permit form in the mobile app.
The business rule will automatically create a PDF of the work permit form and attach to the work permit. The business rule can be configured to trigger on a workflow action (process) change. Each time the business rule triggers, the PDF will be regenerated and replaced. It’s always possible to delete the attachment manually, or to configure a business rule to delete it when specific conditions are met.
New invalid characters for entity prefixes
The list of valid characters for entity prefixes has changed. New invalid characters are: /\#$?%&|''"@~^[]{}_ (space). See Change default prefix and digits for entity.

Ability to specify the separator character in file name for SVG schematic
When querying AVEVA™ Asset Information Management for a schematic file, the separator character in the file name was previously hardcoded to be a dash. This character can now be customized for business preference.
File name: <schematic number>-<revision number>.svg
You can now specify this character, but the value cannot empty. For example, you could use underscore (_) or plus (+) or any valid character. The default is still the dash character (-). Change this setting on the Site window by right-clicking the site name, and then selecting Configure site settings.

New mandatory field for icon for info point types
When you create a new type, you need to select an icon from supplied icon library. During upgrade, all info point types will be assigned the standard icon as default. Which you can change to any icon after upgrade. The numeral in the list displays on the info point icon. For example, 4 – Blue displays as a blue info point icon with a number 4 inside the icon.
For more information, see Configure plot plan information point types.

Information point tags as they appear on a plot plan.

Automatically copy dates from work order to isolation plans
There is a new site setting isolationCopyDatesFromWorkOrder for copying dates from work orders to associated isolation plans.
