Viewing job details

You cannot edit the properties of a job while it is active. You must first stop the job to modify it and then restart the job. See Make changes to a job.

Many details of the Job Schedule window are protected values and cannot be edited.

Description

Internal jobschedule id

No

This is an automated internal value. It is not editable.

Current database date/time

No

Displays the current date and time of the Oracle database. Read-only value.

Active

Yes

Indicates whether the job is Active. The job is not editable while in Active status, so you will need to stop a job, before values become editable.

Code

No

Protected value. Not editable.

Database package

No

The name of of the Oracle package and method. This is a protected value and not editable.

Description

Yes

An editable value that provides a short description of the purpose of the job.

Properties

Yes

Indicates whether a job has some custom properties. This usually applies only to custom jobs that were created for a specific customer.

Oracle job name

No

An Oracle job number is required by Oracle to run a job. Oracle assigns this value.

  • Only appears for an active job.

  • If job is stopped, the job number clears.

Next schedule

No

Displays the date and time of of the next scheduled execution. The next execution time will occur as specified by the Priority value. This is a read-only value.

Last run

No

Displays the date and time that the job was last executed. This is a read-only value.

No. of failures

No

Number of times the job has failed to perform successfully.

No. of times

No

Number of times job has executed, including succeeded and failed jobs.
