Require subtypes

When Require Subtypes is selected, the user must select a defined subtype for the supplementary form.
A subtype is a special category for certain conditions, and can have a different form for those specific conditions.
If no form is attached to a subtype, the parent form is used.

Before you begin
To require Subtypes for Supplementary Forms

On the Main menu, double-click Types and sites.

The Supplementary form - Type and Site Query dialog box opens.

Do a search query of existing types for a Site.

The result displays in the Supplementary form - Type and site window.

Select a Site/Type association and select the Subtype is required checkbox.

Click Save on the main toolbar.
