Sending work items back to sender
Sometimes, recipients may need to return items to the submitter or sender. This can be for various reasons such as:

Rejecting approval

Item needs more information
It is possible to notify the original sender, if the sender can be detected by the system.

Enable work item to be sent back to original sender

On the Tools menu, point to System management and click Entities and workflow.

On the Maintenance of entities and workflow window, right-click an entity and click Processes.

The Processes window opens.

Select a process in the table.

Select Fetch sender from inverse process to notify the original sender that the work item is being returned.
Note: The system can detect the sender only in a directly inverse return, such as an item that went from 100 to 300 and is being returned from 300 to 100.

Select Message is required to require that a message is included with returned work item. The message will also be visible in the log.
