Data for tags

Required data

All the required data must be provided; if not, the import will fail.

Element

Comments

Site Code

String

The site for the tag.

Must exist as a site in Operational Safety Management.

Tag Number

String

A tag number must be unique within a site.

Tag Title

String

The Tag Title.

Status Code

String

The Tag Status. Should exist as a Status in Operational Safety Management.

Unknown status will be mapped to status UNKNOWN (added by default).

Optional data

The following data is optional.

System Code

String

The system for the tag.

Must exist as a system in Operational Safety Management.

Area Code

String

The area for the tag.

Must exist as an area in Operational Safety Management.

Parent Tag Number

String

This element is not in use by OSM.

Criticality

String

The criticality for the tag. OSM uses the values are HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW or NON or empty.

Any other values will not work.

Value is reflected in the color of the criticality icon for the tag.

Is Safety Critical

Boolean (true/false)

A flag indicating if the tag is defined to be safety critical or not.
If not supplied, defaults to false.

This value is reflected in the tag criticality icon, which changes to Is Safety Critical icon (a red S).

Has Barriers

Boolean (true/false)

A flag indicating whether the equipment identified by the tag is a barrier.

If not supplied, defaults to false.

If a tag is linked to a work order and has this flag, this is reflected in the Barrier icon in the work order library.

Is Voided

Boolean (true/false)

A flag identifying if the tag is canceled/voided.

If this value is not supplied, defaults to false.

When a tag is voided, it will not be available for future selection. However, existing links to the tag will still be visible.
