By default, pressing the Print button triggers a PDF to be generated and displayed in a new window. You can perform some actions while this window is open, but when closed, it is not possible to access the PDF again.
However, it is possible to enable an option to save generated PDFs to a folder location on the web server.
Saving PDF to server
By configuring a PrintToServer setting with a value of 1, the PDFs will be saved on the server. The customer needs to create a procedure or print job to fetch these PDFs and queue them up for sending to the correct printer.
Enable PrintToServer setting
-
On the Configure site settings for site window, find the relevant PrintToServer setting.
For example:
-
isolationListPrintToServer
-
isolationPointLabelPrintToServer
-
isolationPointPIDPrintToServer
-
isolationPrintToServer
-
safeJobAnalysisPrintToServer
-
supplementaryFormPrintToServer
-
workPermitPrintToServer
-
-
Change the value of the print to server setting to 1 to enable the functionality. To change back to default, right-click and select Clear setting.

Print folders
Generated PDFs will be saved to print folders on the web server. This happens only when Print to server setting is enabled.
