Allow free text for workflow signatures

You can configure whether free selection will be allowed when user is selecting a person to Sign on behalf of.

The user can click the Switch icon to switch between selecting a user from menu, or typing in a person's name with free text.

Allow free text for workflow signatures

1. From the Tools menu, open the System management menu.

2. Double-click to open Entities and Workflows.

   

   The Maintenance of entities and workflow window opens.

3. Right-click an entity and click Processes.

   

   The Processes window opens.

4. Right-click a process and click Signatures usage.

   

5. On the Add / Remove Signatures window, select the Allow "free text" checkbox for the different signatures that are configured for each process. This option allows a name to be typed in, instead of selecting a user from a list.

6. Click Save on the main toolbar.
