Add statuses to an entity

The Statuses window is where you can define the workflow for an entity by adding valid statuses for the entity.

The entity, such as a work permit or isolation, moves from one status to the next.

Each status has a code number, such as 100. A workflow action takes an entity from one status to the next.

For example, in this table a status moves from 100 to 200.

Define statuses for an entity

1. Open the Entities and workflow window. (See Open Entities and workflow window).

2. Select an entity and then right-click anywhere in the window to open the context menu.

3. Click Statuses.

   

   The window lists the defined statuses for that entity.

   

Add a new status to the entity

4. Click New on the main toolbar to add a new row in the table.

5. Enter the Code and Description and other details. The code must be numeric and must contain 3 digits.
