When at least four points have been added to the source and destination images, you can perform the calculation to generate the transformation values.
You will need to place at least four points in the source image and the target image.
-
Four (4) points in the source image and four points in the corresponding target image should be enough for most plot plans.
-
By using OSM Administration to fine tune the X/Y coordinates and recalculating, then it should not usually be necessary to add more points. See Adjust Projection / Cross Section.
-
Only in a very few situations will more than four points be needed.
Before calculating
Be certain that the XY coordinates of all projection points are correct before performing the calculation.
Calculate the transformation matrix
-
Click the Calculate button.

In table for matrix calculated values will be shown.

After calculating the matrix
After the matrix is calculated, you can start to move the mouse over source image and you will see on destination image where point will be translated.
In this case, point is shown as a green circle.

Add additional points
You can add additional points and recalculate the transformation matrix until you achieve best transformation.
Delete a point
You can delete a points from grid by selecting a grid row for a point and pressing DELETE key on keyboard.
Delete all points
You can delete all points in matrix, by clicking Clear button.
