Importing work orders

You can import work orders exported from EAM using the ApiAdapter Utility.
All required data must be present for the import to succeed.

A Work Order is a description for a piece of work. All work orders that come into the AVEVA™ Operational Safety Management system are created in another system, such as SAP or IBM Maximo. Work Orders inside Operational Safety Management are read-only, but you can attach other entities. |
Work order reference numbers
When importing a work order from an external system, specific characters of the work order number will be stripped away during import.
This apples if the external reference number contains the following characters:
/ \ # $ ? % & | ' " @ or space
