Activating and deactivating statuses

Activating statuses

When a status is active, it means:

  • The status is available to the workflow.

  • The status will appear in the web application.

Activate a status

  1. On the Tools menu, point to System management and click Entities and Workflows.

  2. Right-click an entity and click Statuses.

  3. On the Statuses window, select the Active check box.

  4. Click Save on the main toolbar.

Deactivating statuses

When a status is not active, it means:

  • The status is not available to the workflow.

  • The status will not appear in the web application.

  • The status still exists in the database.

Deactivate a status

  1. On the Tools menu, point to System management and click Entities and Workflows.

  2. Right-click an entity and click Statuses on the context menu.

  3. On the Statuses window, clear the Active check box.

  4. Click Save on the main toolbar.
